Chicken thighs to cover bottom of 9 x 13 pan
season salt or just salt and pepper
button mushrooms ( or canned mushrooms)
1/2 cup chopped onion ( more or less to taste)
1 quart water
chicken bouillon
cornstarch
brown or white rice ( prepared as directed)

Directions:
Take excess fat off the chicken pieces. Sprinkle "Season salt" or salt and pepper on front and back of each piece and bake at 350º for 30 minutes in a 9 x 13 pan. Pour grease off. Saute mushrooms with chopped onion. In separate pot add 1 quart of water and chicken bouillon as directed to make broth, then simmer. Thicken with cornstarch to make a thin gravy. Add sauteed mushrooms and onions. Cook a few minutes. Pour over chicken and bake another 30 minutes.
Serve with brown or white rice.
