One of our family's sayings is, "It don't take no educatin' and hardly no sense to do that." Well, that applies to this recipe. When I first started making this for Logan (fifty-eight years ago), I ground my cranberries in a heavy old grinder that had to be bolted to a table to be used. (Sausage grinder) I grated the orange peeling on a hand held grater and often got a finger grated tool Remember, the food processor has not always been in the kitchen. As you use the recipes in this family cook book, remember that Grandma cooked on the old wood cookstove. And, I wish you could have seen those fluffy, hightop biscuits that came out of that old oven!

Personal Notes:
Logan thinks that we cannot have a Thanksgiving dinner without this. All three grandsons like it too, so I double the batch now.
