1 cup margarine
1 cup vegetable oil - do not NOT use Canola oil!!
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
4 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 cup finely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together margarine, vegetable oil, granulated sugar and powdered sugar.
Add 2 eggs beaten & vanilla.
Sift together flour, salt, baking soda, and cream of tartar. With the pecans add to wet mixture and mix thoroughly. Chill dough in refrigerator at least one hour.
Pinch off balls (small) and place on greased cookie sheet. Flatten with a floured fork.
Bake at 325º for 10 -15 minutes until edges begin to brown. Remove from cookie sheet while still warm.
