Ingredients:  
1/2 c softened butter
1 pkg yellow cake mix
1/2 c coconut
1 (20 oz) presliced apples or 2 1/2 c sliced apples
1/2 c sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 c sour cream
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Cut butter into dry cake mix until crumble. Mix in coconut. Pat mixture into ungreased 9x13x2 inch pan, building up edges slightly. Bake 10 min.
Arrange apples in warm crust. Mix sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle on apples. Blend sour cream and eggs. Drizzle over apples. Bake 25 min.

Can substitute 2 (16 oz) cans sliced pears or 1 (29 oz) can sliced peaches for the apples.
Any flavor cake mix can be used.
