2 cups milk
1/2 cup grits
1/2 tsp salt
half stick butter
hot sauce
1/2 cup cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Bring the milk and 2/3 of the half stick of butter to a slow boil over medium heat. Add the grits and salt and cook about 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Take off the heat and use a hand mixer for 5 minutes (medium/medium high speed). Add 5 drops of hot sauce and 1/4 of the butter in a small square baking dish and melt. Add the git mixture to pan with melted butter and add 1/4 cup cheese on top. Bake for 20 minutes.
