1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
2 cups buttermilk
1 cup boiling water
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup 100% bran
3/4 cup raisin
2 cups all bran
2 1/2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Pour water over 100%bran and let stand until cool. Meanwhile cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs one at a time and beat well between. Add flour, salt and soda and milk . Mix in 100% bran, all bran and raisin. Mix thoroughly.
Spoon into muffin tins and bake for 20 minutes at 400º.

Once mixed DO NOT STIR but keep in refrigerator for up to 3 weeks. Store covered tightly
