2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter 1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. sour cream
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour. Measure and sift again with baking powder, soda and salt. Cream butter with sugar until fluffy and light. Add eggs, and beat well. Alternate adding dry ingredients with the sour cream. Beat until smooth. Add vanilla. Pour half the batter onto buttered and lightly floured 9 x 9 pans. Cover one half with topping. Pour in the remaining batter and sprinkle the remaining topping over all. Bake at 325º for 45 minutes.

Topping:
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 c. finely chopped pecans
Combine all ingredients and mix well.
