1/2 c. water
1 bag of spinach (or other greens, like kale or romaine lettuce)
1 can pineapple
1 frozen ripe banana

Directions:
Directions:
Put 1/2 c. water in the blender. Fill the blender with spinach. Blend. Add more water if necessary to get the spinach to blend. Fill the blender up again with spinach. Blend. Continue until all of the spinach is blended. Add 1 can of pineapple (or less, if you like it less sweet). Blend. Add one frozen ripe banana. Blend. (If you do not have a frozen banana, you can add a fresh ripe banana and a few ice cubes). Add additional water if necessary to make the smoothie pourable.

I know that the idea of a spinach smoothie sounds really weird, but it really tastes good! I have found it to be a great way to get my kids to drink a vegetable!
