1 lb Italian sausage
1/2 cup prepped tomato sauce
1.4 cup yellow onion
2 -3 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 lb frozen bread dough
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 large egg
2 Tbsp milk
1/4 tsp basil
2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat the oven to 425º. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Cook sausage, stirring until browned, about 10 minutes. Drain well. Combine tomato sauce, onion, garlic, basil and Italian seasoning in skillet with sausage. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes. Divide the bread dough into 8 equal parts. On a lightly floured surface, using a lightly floured rolling pin, roll each piece of dough into a 5 inch circle. Spoon the sausage mix evenly onto half of each circle. Sprinkle evenly with mozzarella and Parmesan. Moisten edges of dough with egg and milk; brush over calzones. Bake on a greased baking sheet until golden brown, about 25 minutes. If baking frozen, add 10-15 minutes.
