Uncle Jimmy's New Clam sauce recipe

This is perfect over pasta!

1 stick butter
about 6 tbsp. extra virgin Olive oil
1/4 diced onion
about 1/4 c diced green onion
garlic to taste,
crushed red peppers to taste
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp oregano
1 tbsp basil
1 tsp old bay
6 cans minced clams including juice
3 tsp parsley
1 c white wine (8oz)
1 bottle clam juice
plenty of Parmesan or Romano cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Saute butter, garlic,parsley, and oil. add rest of ingredients, heat to first boil, then turn off heat.

I use lots of cheese, (about 4 tbsp in sauce)

serve over pasta of choice but I prefer angel hair
