1 cp Sugar
1 Egg
1 1/2 cp Sour Milk
1 Tbsp Baking Soda
4-6 cp Flour
1 cp Molasses
1 cp Crisco Shortening
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Salt
Raisins, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In bowl combine flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon. In separate bowl cream shortening, sugar and egg till light and fluffy. Add molasses beating well. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk, using enough flour to stiffen batter. Chill. Roll dough on lightly floured surface using cooky cutter preference. Place several raisins on center of cookie, if desired. Bake 7-9 minutes. Cool, decorate as desired for gingerbread cookies.
