1 cup sour cream (heat in double boiler until luke- warm)
¼ cup warm water
3 T. sugar
1 T. yeast
½ lb. butter
6 egg yolks
½ tsp. salt
1 cup sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts
3 cups white flour

Directions:
Directions:
In mixing bowl soften ½ lb. butter and add 6 egg yolks.
Dissolve yeast in warm water, add warm sour cream, butter/egg mixture, ½ tsp. salt and mix. Add 3 cups flour (no more) and mix until smooth.
Seal and place in refrigerator over night.

Take tablespoon of dough, roll in hands to about 6-7 inches and then twist and coat both top and bottom in nut/sugar mix. (Equal parts ground nuts and sugar). Let rise about ½ to 1 hour and bake 350º for 15 min. on greased cookie sheet. DO NOT BAKE ON BOTTOM RACK. Cool and store in sealed container. That is, if there are any to save.
