1 beef roast (bottom round, chuck or less tender cut works well)
12 oz. Coca-Cola
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix

Directions:
Directions:
Place unseasoned roast in a baking dish. Sprinkle the onion soup mix over the roast. Pour in the Coca-Cola. Cover and seal tightly with aluminum foil. Place in oven and cook at 300 degrees until tender. Time will vary with size of roast. (A 4 lb. roast will take 3 1/2 to 4 hours.

I've served this for a large party as French dip sandwiches or sliced roast with baked potatoes and a salad. You can also make in a slow cooker before you go to play a round of golf. If you want, consider adding some portabello mushrooms and a can of mushroom soup to the mix.
