1-10 oz pkg frozen, chopped spinach, thawed
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup fresh basil leaves
1/4 cup pine nuts, toasted
2 T butter, softened
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp anise seed, ground
1-12 oz pkg egg noodles, uncooked

Directions:
Directions:
Drain spinach; press between paper towels to remove excess water. Put spinach and next 9 ingredients in food processor for 30 seconds. Set pesto aside.
Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain, add pesto to hot noodles, tossing gently. Transfer to serving dish, garnish with fresh basil springs. Serve immediately.
