5 large eggs
1/2 lb butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 lb candied cherries
1 lb candied pineapple
4 cup shelled pecans
1/2 oz vanilla extract
1/2 oz lemon extract

Directions:
Directions:
Chop nuts and fruits into medium size pieces; dredge with a small part of the flour. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add well beaten eggs and lend well. Sift remaining flour and baking powder together. Fold into egg and butter mixture. Add vanilla and lemon extract; mix well; then fruit and nuts, blending in well. Pour batter into greased, paper lined 10 inch tube pan. Place in oven and bake at 250 degrees for 3 hours. Cool on cake rack.
