1 (8oz) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. maple syrup
1 T. sugar
1/2 c. chopped fresh strawberries
4 large croissants
3 eggs
1 c. half and half or light cream
1 T. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
sliced strawberries
maple syrup

Directions:
Directions:
In medium bowl, beat cream cheese, maple syrup, and sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until well combined. Stir in chopped strawberries. Carefulle cut each croissant horozontally, cutting to but not through other side. Spoon cream cheese filling into each croissant. In medium bowl mix eggs, half and half, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Using your hands, carefully dip each side of croissant in egg mixture, being careful not to squeeze out filling. Cook filled croissants, two at a time on lightly greased griddle over medium heat about 1 to 2 minutes each side. Use 2 spatulas to turn croissants. Serve warm, sprinkled with fresh strawberries and maple syrup.
