1 pound beef stew meat
The following vegetables cut up into chunks:
3 potatoes
3 carrots
2 stalks of celery
1 onion
Topping:
4 oz can of tomato sauce
4 oz water
1/2 tsp sugar
salt & pepper
1 tsp quick cooking tapioca

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange the beef stew meat in a pan large enough to hold them in a single layer. Do not brown the meat. Layer the vegetables on top of the meat.
Mix the sauce, water, sugar, salt and pepper and pour over the above mixture. Scatter the 1 teaspoon of tapioca on top of all. Do not stir. Seal the pan with foil and cook at 325º for at least 2 hours.
