1 cube butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk

1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Melt butter and sugar in the buttermilk over medium heat. When it just starts to boil, remove off heat and add soda and vanilla. Stir; it will foam up. Serve hot. Can be refrigerated for 2 weeks.
