1 deep dish double pie crust
2 tbsp. margarine
1 onion, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
2 c. cabbage, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 lb ground beef
1 c. hot water
2 envelop brown gravy mix
2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Prepare bottom pie crust. Saute onion, carrots and cabbage in margarine for 5-10 minutes. Remove to a dish. Saute meat until brown. Lower heat and stir in hot water, scrapping bottom of pan to loosen browned bits. Stir in gravy mix, parsley, salt and pepper. Cover pan and simmer 5 minutes. Mix in prepared vegetables. Spoon into pie pan; top with second crust and seal edges. Make slits in top crust. Bake @ 400º for 30 minutes.

Yield: 8 servings
