1 lb white beans
6 c. canned chicken broth
2 gloves garlic, minced
2 med onions, chopped and divided
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 sm cans chopped green chilies
2 tsp. ground cumin
4 c. cooked chicken, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
3 c. Monterey jack cheese, grated

Directions:
Directions:
Combine beans, broth, garlic and 1/2 of onions in lg soup pot, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until beans are very soft, 3 hours or more. Add more broth is necessary. In skillet, saute remaining onions in oil until tender. Add remaining ingredients (except chicken and cheese). Add to bean mixture. Add chicken and continue to simmer for 1 hour. Serve topped with cheese.
