12 large banana peppers, seeded, cut in half lengthwise
Place in microwave safe dish, do not layer

Mix: 1 lb loose breakfast sausage
1 beaten egg
½ cup cracker crumbs
salt and pepper to taste.

Cover each pepper half with layer of sausage mix. Microwave on high for 5 minutes. Remove from microwave and brush BBQ sauce across peppers. Return to microwave and continue cooking for another 5 minutes on high.
