1 lb. sausage
2 lb. raw shrimp
2 c. converted rice
1/2 lb. cubed ham
1/4 c. green onion
1(8 oz) can tomato sauce
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
2 c. water
1 can mushrooms
1 stick butter
Salt, red and black pepper, to taste
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. dried parsley
1 bay leaf

Mix all ingredients except shrimp, in a heavy Dutch oven. Cover and bake at 350 º for 1 hour. Add raw shrimp and continue to cook for 30 minutes.
