1 1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
10-ounce package frozen raspberries, thawed
1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped

Directions:

1. Combine vanilla wafer crumbs and melted butter in mixing bowl; reserve 1/4 cup crumbs for topping.

2. Press remainder into bottom of 9-inch square pan.

3. Cream butter; gradually add confectioners' sugar.

4. Add eggs, one at a time; beat mixture until light and fluffy.

5. Spread over crumbs in pan. Chill.

6. To prepare filling, combine sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. Add raspberries.

7. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick and clear. Cool.

8. Pour raspberry filling over crumb mixture in pan and spread whipped cream over top. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Chill several hours or overnight.
