1/2 lb. blanched almonds
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
1/2 cup honey
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 egg whites
1/2 cup flour

Directions:

Number of Servings: 2 dozen

Preheat oven to 300º F.

Combine nuts and honey and lightly beaten egg whites in a bowl. Add flour gradually to make a thick paste, but not too stiff. Cut into diamond shapes about 2 inches long. Place on a buttered cookie sheet. Bake at for 20-30 minutes or until firm. Cookies can be frosted with your favorite icing when cooled.
