½ cup salt
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1 cup water
Food coloring (your choice)

Mix dry ingredients. Put food coloring in the 1 cup of water. Add water mixture and oil to dry mix. Stir until smooth, cook over medium heat until it handles nicely. Store in air tight container.
