3 Tbsp. butter
2 c. uncooked macaroni
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 qt milk

*optional: 1 (12oz) pkg smoked beef sausage links
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º; during preheating, melt butter in 2 qt casserole or baking dish in oven. Combine macaroni, salt and pepper. Pour macaroni in dish and stir to coat with melted butter. Sprinkle cheese over macaroni. Pour milk over cheese. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.
*Optional: arrange sausage links on top of macaroni and bake for additional 15 minutes.

Yields: 6 servings
