2 loaves of day old bread, crumbled (homemade white bread is the best!)
1 c butter
3/4 c onion
1 1/2 c chopped celery
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 1/2 tsp sage
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp marjoram

Melt butter in a large sauce pan. Saute onion and celery until soft. Add spices. Stir well. Add crumbled bread. Stuff your turkey, or place in an oven safe bowl and bake covered for 45 minutes at 350º

This is my grandmother's recipe and I swear by it!! I would keep an eye on oven time though, it might not be quite 45 minutes.
