All ingredients at room temperature (70º-80º F)

2 pound (amount for 1.5 pound in parentheses):
3/4 (1/2) tsp. salt
4 c. (3 c.) all-purpose flour
2 (1 1/2) tsp. active dry yeast
1 and 3/8 (1) c. water
3 (2) tbsp. olive oil or vegetable oil

1) Combine all ingredients in bread-machine pan
2) Select "dough" setting
3) Start machine
4) Spread dough onto pizza pan (or pans for 2 pound) and add toppings
5) Bake at 400º for 15-20 minutes

Be sure your bread machine has a "dough" setting. If not, the recipe works just as well without the machine...for you more advanced dough makers! We've used this recipe hundreds of times...it has made busy days so easy! Also perfect for breadsticks (decrease cooking time to 8-10 min.).
