3 15.5 oz. cans garbanzo beans
1/2 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
1 T. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Cayenne pepper and salt to taste

Directions:
Empty one undrained can and two drained cans of garbanzo beans into a food processor. Add the remaining ingredients and blend to desired consistency.

Canned garbanzo beans vary widely in the amount of liquid they contain, adjust the amount of liquid based on desired consistency.

All ingredient amounts are approximations. I never measure ingredients when I make hummus, adjust them to your personal tastes.
