Directions:
Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients together. Store in jar.
When you want to make biscuits: Measure this way. To each cup mix add 1/4 c. shortening and 1/3 c. butter milk or milk (makes 5 biscuits). The use of buttermilk helps with gas. There is a powdered buttermilk (found in store with flour etc.). You can't mix powdered buttermilk with dry ingredients as it requires refrigeration after opening. Bake at 425º for 12 minutes. I use floured plate to pat out dough on instead of dragging out pastry cloth. A jelly glass works for cutting biscuits. Enjoy.

Personal Notes:
I find that I make biscuits more often when I have mix ready and don't have to drag out and put away all those ingredients
