1 Cup Rolled Oats
1 1/2 Cup Hot Water
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Honey
1/2 Cup Shortening
2 eggs
1 1/2 Cup sifted whole wheat flour
1 tsp Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 Cup Raisins

Brown Sugar Frosting
12 cup brown sugar
1/2 cube butter
3 TLB milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cake ::Pour hot water over oats and let stand. Cream sugar, honey and shortening. Add eggs and beat. Add shifted flour with soda, salt and cinnamon. Add oatmeal mixture and beat. Add raisins. Bake 350º for 35 minutes. Top with Brown Sugar Frosting:

Brown Sugar Frosting: Mix brown sugar, butter and milk and bring to boil. Cool and thicken with powdered sugar.
