4 potatoes
3 slices of bacon
1/2 c onion, chopped
1 T flour
1 T sugar
1 t salt
1/4 t celery seed
dash pepper
1/2 c water
1/4 c vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Boil potatoes in salted water until fork tender. Drain and cool. Slice into thick circles. Fry bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels and crumble. Saute onion in bacon fat. Stir in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring, until mixture is bubbly. Stir in water and vinegar. Heat to boiling. Add bacon crumbles and sliced potatoes. Stir gently to coat. Serve warm.
