2 Cups Scalded Milk
1/2 Cup Shortening
3 TLB yeast
1/2 cup very warm water
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
6 - 7 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Add yeast to warm water, stir until dissolved, then add sugar and set aside. Combine all remaining ingredients and add yeast mixture. Mix well; roll out on floured board. Cut into squares. Fry squares in hot oil. Serve warm with jam or honey butter.
