"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Personal Notes:
Open Face sandwiches are great. There are all sort of adaptations for smorrebrod and they can be plain or fancy. The Prawn and Egg is a favorite. You can get it at Ikea or any konditori in Scandinavia, but why not make it yourself? We make these for Christmas Eve lunch, which holds us over for the evening meal.
