Saucy Chicken with Asparagus Recipe

1 1/2 lb fresh asparagus
4 chicken breasts cup up
2 T cooking oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 can cream of chicken soup
about 1/2 can milk
1/2 C mayo
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp curry
1 c shredded cheese

Steam asparagus. Brown chicken breasts in cooking oil with salt and pepper.
Combine chicken soup, milk, mayo, lemon juice, curry to make a sauce. Grease 8x10 dish and layer: asparagus, chicken and pour over sauce. Top with shredded cheese. Bake 375 for 40 minutes.
Serve with rice.
