1 1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter or Crisco
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. molasses
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 1/2 c. cooked raisins
1 lb. English walnuts, chopped together
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. soda, dissolved in 1/2 c. hot water that the raisins were cooked in

Drop on pans with a teaspoon, and bake. (note: I'm estimating 8 to10 minutes @ 350 degrees - deb)
