4 c. sugar
14 oz. bag of red hots
¼ c. vinegar
6 drops cinnamon oil

Add ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer all day (uncovered.)

Mama Dotson's secret to making biscuits- use only White Lily flour and always self-rising. (Serve with real butter.) Go by recipe on bag. For her cornbread—use self-rising White Lily cornmeal (no sugar) and go by recipe on the bag.
