3-3 1/2 lbs. frying chicken pieces
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup melted butter
2 cups drained whole canned onions
1/4 lb. sliced mushrooms
2/3 cup undiluted Velvetized evaporated milk
1 10.5-oz. can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup grated process American cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
dash of paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Coat chicken with flour. Arrange in single layer with skins down in melted butter in 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Bake, uncovered, in moderately hot oven, 425º, 30 minutes. Turn chicken. Bake until brown, 15-20 minutes longer or until tender. Remove baking dish from oven; reduce temperature to 325º. Pour off excess fat. Add onions and mushrooms to chicken. Combine evaporated milk, soup, cheese, salt and pepper. Pour over chicken. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover with foil. Return to oven and continue baking 15-20 minutes.
