2 cups plain all purpose flour
2 3/4 cups sugar
5 eggs
1 cup milk plus 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 cup Crisco shortening
2 sticks whipped margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and set aside. Beat sugar, shortening, and margarine well. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each. Add milk and flour alternately until mixed. Pour into a greased and floured tube cake pan. Bake at 300º for 1 1/2 hours - until edges release from pan.
