Directions:
Take two pieces of wax paper and lay out. Put a small handful of hamburger on one piece of wax paper and flatten hamburger to as thin as possible with other piece of wax paper. In med/hot frying pan put two tablespoons of butter and heat until light brown (this is key, it has to be light brown). Cook burger in the butter until done to your liking. Finally, take two pieces of bread and lay in grease/butter mix, brown until slightly crisp.
Serve with whatever condiments you like.

This recipe is from my Mom's Herter's Bull Cook Recipe Book. It is amazingly good and a great way to make a burger in the Winter when your grill is buried in snow.
