Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pound ground sausage (I prefer Jimmy Dean - Hot flavor)
Flour (several tablespoons)
Milk (have at least a quart on hand)

Biscuits (I prefer Pillsbury frozen)

This is not really a recipe because I have never measured anything, but this was a special request!

Brown sausage in a large skillet - do not drain grease! Add flour (maybe 3 tbsp?) - enough to cover grease, but not too much so that it becomes mushy. If there is still liquid grease, add a little more flour. Continue cooking for a couple of minutes with flour on the meat, then slowly start adding milk. I add maybe a cup first, then cook until thickened, then keep adding milk a little at a time until desired consistency is reached. It will continue to thicken upon standing also.

Personal Notes:
The more flour, the more gravy it will make. If the sausage is too lean, you may need to add a little cooking oil to the cooked sausage before adding flour in order to make a lot of gravy.
