1 medium head lettuce, torn in small pieces
1 1/2 cups carrots, shredded
1 1/2 cups celery, chopped
1 1/2 cups purple onion, thinly sliced
1 1/2 cups parsley, chopped (optional)
2 cups or more mayonnaise
1/2 cup imitation bacon bits
2 cups or more sour cream

Directions:

Layer first 6 ingredients in order listed in a 3 quart bowl. Set aside. Combine mayonnaise and sour cream; mix well. Spread evenly over entire top of layered ingredients. Sprinkle bacon bits over dressing. Cover and chill 6 hours.
