2.5 lb chuck roast 2 inches thick
meat tenderizer
5 oz soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup bourbon (1.5 cups water)
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Early in the day treat the roast with tenderizer. Place in a baking dish 12"x8"x2". After meat has been well tenderized, put in the marinade for at least 6 hours turning at least once. Grill the roast 30 minutes on each side or to desired rareness. Baste often. Pour marinade in small sieve and place in icebox!!!
