1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter - softened
1 cup small curd cottage cheese
1 tsp salt
1 egg yolk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and measure. Combine in bowl with butter, cottage cheese and salt. Mix till well blended. Shape into ball. On floured board, knead 10 times. Roll out to 1/2" thick and cut in to 2" rounds. Brush top with beaten egg yolk.

Can freeze at this point.
On greased cookie sheet, bake in 450º oven for 12 to 15 minutes .

Makes about 18 appetizers.
