12 oz. fettuccine
2 8oz. pkg. broccolini, stems removed and cut into 1 " pieces
2 T. olive oil
2 lg. sweet onions, sliced
3 cloves minced garlic
1 T sugar
1 14 1/2 oz can reduced sodium chicken broth
1 1/2 t. salt
1 t. fresh ground pepper
1/2 cup cream cheese

Directions:
Cook pasta according to directions on package, adding the broccolini during the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain.
Cook onions and garlic in oil in a large skillet over medium heat until softened, stirring often. Add sugar and cook covered until browned and tender, about 6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the chicken broth salt and pepper and cook 1 minute. Reduce the heat to low and add the cream cheese. Stir until melted. Add the pasta and broccolini and stir until both are coated well.
