2 T. whole cloves
1 T. whole allspice
1 gal. apple cider
2 qts. cranberry juice
6 cinnamon sticks
6 sm. McIntosh apples

Directions:
Directions:
Wrap cloves and allspice in double thickness cheesecloth to make spice bag. Tie with string. In saucepan over high heat, heat cider, cranberry juice, cinnamon sticks and spice bag to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20 minutes. Discard spice bag and pour hot drink into an 8 qt. heat-safe punch bowl. Place apples in bowl for garnish. Makes 24 cups.
