1 1/4 c. flour
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 c. butter cut into small pieces
1/4 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. lowfat buttermilk
3/4 tsp. vanilla
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray 8" round cake pan.
In a large bowl combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt. Cut in butter.
Remove 1/2 c. flour mixture place in a small bowl stir in nuts (streusal topping)
Add baking powder and soda to batter. Add buttermilk, vanilla and egg and beat with an electric mixer for 2-4 minutes.
Spoon batter into cake pan, sprinkle with topping.
Bake 25-30 minutes.
