1 c. boiling water (pour over shortening)
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Blend together well and let cool.
2 envelopes of yeast
1 cup tepid water
soak together for 5 minutes
2 eggs beaten a long time.
Add to shortening mix.
Blend and add soaked yeast
Gradually add 6 1/2 - 7 cups flour - knead and blend well

Dough can be made the day before and placed in the refrigerator to make rolls the next day. Pour onto floured area. Work with small amounts of dough, roll and cut with biscuit cutter. Dip dough in liquid oil and place two thin rolls stacked together. Let rolls rise slightly
