6 large apples
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 T. flour
1 1/2 t. cinnamon
1/4 t. nutmeg, fresh grated
3 T. butter
1 double pie crust recipe

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sliced apples with sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Place in crust and dot with butter. Cover with top crust and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until crust is golden and pie filling is oozing.
Best apples are Mutsuis, Gravensteins, Pippins or Yellow Delicious.
