3/4 c shortening
1 c.sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg
2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp ginger
2 c. flour 1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions:
Directions:
Melt shortening in pan over low heat. Remove from heat, add sugar and molasses. Add egg and rest of ingredients.
Mix well.
Chill.
Form in to 1 inch balls, and roll in sugar.
Bake at 375º 8-10 minutes.
